Mr. Carter is a professionally certified Data Center Design Electro-mechanical engineer and has designed, built and retrofitted legacy Tier I-II data centers all over the country into Uptime Institute Tier III certified sites since 1997 for companies such as LexisNexis, Fidelity Information Services and since 2010, NFINIT.

Throughout this time, focus has always been on ensuring continuous sustainability, reliability, availability, with concurrent maintainability to ensure large, complex organizations can remain productive in the face of unpredictable circumstances.

During his five years at Fidelity and six years at LexisNexis, Mr. Carter oversaw an unprecedented level of continuous uptime. During his tenure, there was not a single revenue-impacting outage. Since 2010, the NFINIT data centers have been upgraded to become the most sought after site for data center service customers in southern California.

Mr. Carter holds a BS in Engineering from Notre Dame and an MBA from the University of Dayton. He is the recipient of the 2012 IT Executive of the Year award from the San Diego Business Journal.
